A cornerstone release in both salsa and Latin jazz, Vámonos Pa'l Monte stands among the defining albums of Eddie Palmieri's catalogue. Originally released in 1971, it combines Afro-Cuban rhythm, jazz-driven arrangement and sharp social commentary, with "Revolt / La Libertad Lógico", "Comparsa De Los Locos" and the title track all central to its reputation. The line-up includes major figures such as Charlie Palmieri, Nicky Marrero, Ronnie Cuber and Alfredo "Chocolate" Armenteros.
