FAIRPORT CONVENTION Fairport Convention (1968 UK first issue variant 12-track stereo vinyl LP, featuring Ian MacDonald, Judy Dyble, Richard Thompson, Simon Nichol, 'Tyger' Hutchings & Martin Lamble, produced by Joe & Tod Lloyd for WitchseasonProductions. Recorded well in advance of their future popularity, this debut record sold quite poorly & has now become very difficult to find. Apart from the optimistic single 'If [Stomp]' that was released, most of the rest of this album haslong since disappeared into history. Complete with the fully laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shoes a little creasing at edges, mailny to spine front, and the colours are rich & fantastic looking & there is no writing. The vinyl shows only the lightest signs of play. This is the variant with a 'W.7.Mus' credit to Jack O' Diamonds and no 'MCPS' in the box on the label. Overall a Very Good copy of this lost and sought-after classic)
