Carly Simon's breakthrough 1972 album remains one of the defining singer-songwriter records of its era, built around sharp writing, direct emotional detail and the enduring pull of "You're So Vain." A No. 1 hit and one of Simon's signature recordings, the song gave No Secrets its most recognisable moment, but the album's reach goes much further, moving from the warmth of "The Right Thing To Do" to the candour of "We Have No Secrets" and the reflective close of "When You Close Your Eyes." Produced by Richard Perry and recorded at Trident Studios in London, No Secrets also drew on an exceptional supporting cast including James Taylor, Paul and Linda McCartney, Mick Jagger, Lowell George, Klaus Voormann, Bobby Keys, Jim Keltner, Nicky Hopkins and Bonnie Bramlett.
